In collaboration with Visible Life, we produced a collection of documentary short films –  in support of the museum’s in-person and digital exhibitions – to highlight compelling and historically important stories about unique individuals, organizations, and landmarks in South Carolina.

This film uses  photography as a medium to provide a candid look at the multigenerational history and legacy of the Parks-Wilder family – while also exploring broader topics like Gullah Geeche family connections on Sol Legare Island, the Great Migration, and the preservation of culture.
